First Step will be at the Jefferson County Public Health‘s New Mom’s Tea every fourth Monday of each month.

The New Mom’s tea is a free, weekly in-person gathering for pregnant people, people who have given birth, and guardians with infants and babies hosted by Jefferson County Public Health. What to expect: Talk with others about being a new parent, feeding your baby, and life with a baby. A trained breastfeeding peer counselor is present to answer questions and make referrals. All infant feeding methods (breast or formula) are supported. Foster/adoptive parents welcome. Tea and light snacks provided.
